As spring has blissfully landed in our laps, it has brought the warmer weather, the long overdue beach visits, and of course, the wedding season!
The dreamy celebrations at a wedding, the cake cutting, the fresh flowers, the bubbles and dancing is the perfect way to spend a day with family and friends but the choice of attire seems to instigate concern and irritation for many of us, especially if there’s a budget. Dress codes can come with many stipulations – we can’t be too revealing, we can’t go too short, and never, ever turn up in white (or ivory, cream, bone, champagne, beige, eggshell and vanilla).
Luckily for you, I’ve put together three outfits all for under $200! I have incorporated a ‘staple piece’ with every outfit so as well as dazzling on the dance floor with the other guests, you’ll also have invested in a piece of clothing that can be used again and again in many different ways.
Berry Wedding Outfit

Little Black Dress Wedding Outfit
You can never go wrong with a Little Black Dress.
I am in love with this Grace Hill Cap Sleeve Dress! It’s the finest blend of elegance and eccentricity. With such a distinct dress, you need distinct shoes so I picked the Capture Chloe Sandal Heel to balance the femininity and quirkiness – who ever said a black dress was boring?! The relationship between the heels and the dress form a very effortless ‘on trend’ compilation. And finally, the earrings bring a conventional twinkle to the table, not too boisterous to let the other pieces do the talking!

This outfit is the epitome of an outdoor garden wedding!
You can’t get any more ‘summertime romance’ than this! The delightful floral motif that is extended over the chiffon material will hide any lumps and bumps, and glide over any sins from the winter season! The shape and length will suit ladies of all ages and the chic bow waist detail adds a Parisian touch.
