Looking for somewhere new to eat? Chelsea from our IT team in Palmerston North share with us her favourite cafe in her hometown – Flagship Eatery.
I recently had a long weekend getaway to my hometown, Gisborne, where I visited my favourite eatery, Flagship Eatery multiple times over the three days.
Flagship is housed in a restored Union Steamship Co. building close to the harbor with the best of the original features retained.
It is the perfect place for a weekend brunch as the food and coffee is fantastic which draws a mix of beach babes, farmer’s wives and uni students home visiting.
As they don’t take bookings getting a table can be tough but definitely worth it and if you are unlucky you can ease the pain by picking up some baked delicacies or a bunch of fresh flowers to go!
What would you suggest wearing to Flagship Eatery?
Casual, casual, casual! Jeans, shirt dresses, sunnies… whatever you’d like to wear!
What’s the pricing like?
$$$ really – mid range with generous serving sizes!
