My favourite restaurant in Auckland is The Blue Breeze Inn! Amazing Asian/fusion food packed full of flavour and served in a fun, vibrant setting. The staff are great and really know their stuff – the menu is made up of small to large sharing plates and they’ll happily choose a delicious selection for you and your table based on your taste if you can’t decide for yourself.
They also have a great cocktail menu, especially if you like rum which is their specialty. The steamed pork buns with pork belly are also a must have. They’re so good they’re in the Top 50 Metro Awards this year!
What would you suggest wearing here?
Given it’s fun vibe and location it’s perfect for getting a little bit dressed up but nothing too formal. If you’re heading there for a bite to eat before going out to the bars on Ponsonby road it’s the perfect excuse to wear a great dress and some heels.
What’s the pricing like?
$$$ – Well priced for the quality of the food. With the menu designed for sharing the best way to get the full experience and value for money is to go with a group
