Last week, the crew and I finished shooting the Modern Curve winter catalogue in Sydney.
We spent many days both in studio and on location. The views of Sydney really don’t get much better than this! I never get tired of seeing Sydney displayed in front of me after all these years. What a fabulous backdrop to our pictures and catalogues! Thank you Sydney for all your natural beauty.
Potts Point, Sydney – The view from the top floor of the location house.Vaucluse House, Sydney. It’s Australia’s first official house museum.primitive hair & make-up room and dressing / styling room. The awesome Andrea Rowe is busy producing the rest of our day and organising our shots.Left: On the verandah of the main house, the crew await for me to change into my next outfit; Right: A possible cover option. James Mullins our first photographer’s assistant carefully sprinkles fake snowflakes over me.Our amazing photographer Juli Balla likes the possible cover coat and tries it on for a closer look. It’s a good colour on Juli don’t you think?Left: In studio – Our art director Frances Chapman, photographer Juli Balla and digital operator Stefan, make sure the images already taken are good enough for another cover try ; Right: In studio – James Mullins is so happy to pour fake snow over me, he can’t wipe the smile off his face.Balmoral Beach – It’s another cover try and by midday it is getting very hot indeed and I’m wearing a puffer jacket over a couple of layers. No matter what I’m feeling or going through — I have to keep my professional cool and not show any difference to the world around me.
If you have any questions then please ask away — don’t be shy!
Enjoy your week… Stay glamourous and fabulous. Till next time…
