I know you’re not thinking about next fall or autumn however, there are many trends that are already emerging as big ones for Fall 2013 (which is typically Sept – Nov in the Northern Hemisphere). These fall 2013 trends are a must in your wardrobe:
Sparkle – anything that shimmers, sparkles and shines including crystals and rhinestones that will brighten up your fall collection
Purple power – all shades of plum, grape, purple, aubergine, violet, berry, lavender, wine and indigo (did I miss any?)
Prints – aren’t going anywhere fast, especially leopard
Leather & fur – are popping up in places to enhance and trim and add a touch of luxury
Riding high – equestrian inspirations were all over some designer’s collections
Denim – has a serious comeback in all shapes and styles
Black & white – has never been so chic and elegant… Love it!
Biker boots & biker looks – tough and ready to take on the wild side of one’s character
Skirt suits – no rules apply as it’s a free-for-all when it comes to what’s hot and happening between your hip and knee

On another note, I’m leaving New York within the next couple of weeks to meet my wonderful Sara team. We start shooting our next two catalogues – Spring & Summer in mid-June in Sydney.
