Floral prints are something we see every spring – like the newly blooming flowers around us, they are crisp, fresh and a sign that the weather is getting warmer. Spring florals are much lighter and brighter than the ones we’ve seen in fashion over autumn and winter, and are super easy to style – here are some of my tips.
I absolutely love this tunic – it’s a lovely style that would suit anything from a day at the beach to a cafe lunch, and choosing the rest of your outfit will be super easy. If the weather is a little chilly, reach for your favourite pair of jeans. When it’s warm and sunny, go for a cropped look with these bengaline pants – I love the detailing at the hem and these may just be my favourite trousers for spring!
Inject some colour into your office wardrobe with this tank – the colours are bright without being overly so and the cut is quite conservative. Pair it with a pencil skirt and a blazer and you’ve got the perfect outfit for the office.
Nothing beats the classic combo of jeans and a tee. Get the perfect balance of sweet and edgy by pairing a floral print tee with fitted black denim jeans or jeggings – you can wear this outfit with heels, boots or ballet flats.
Does your wardrobe consist mostly of black on black on black garments? It’s okay, for a long time mine did too. Add in a little pop of colour with this floral print tee (trust me, it’ll look good!) – either wear the skirt around your hips with the tee sitting on the top or tuck the tee in and wear the skirt high waisted.
If you’re wearing floral prints on the bottom, choose a top in the same shade as the dominant colour in the print (in this case, pink). It will help you to look effortlessly put together, whether you’re going for casual chic or something dressy.
How will you be wearing florals this season?
