Spring Swimwear

Every year I spend a long time trying to choose a swimsuit, and by the time I have decided which one I want they seem to have sold out! This year will be different – this year I’m going to be clever and get mine early so that I don’t miss out on the one I want. EziBuy has just released their spring catalogue and with it come some great togs to wear whether your summer is going to be spent at the beach or in the pool… or if you’re lucky enough to being sneaking in an end of winter getaway!

One piece swimsuits don’t have to be boring! It’s all in the details – both of these suits have ruching on the front panel that helps to add texture and enhance your curves. The twist front one piece also has underwire cups, so it’s perfect if you need a little bit more support.

Prefer a two-piece? These tankinis are essentially the top part of the swimsuits above. The straps are adjustable, making them super comfortable to wear, and both designs come in a large range of colours and patterns. Just mix and match them with your favourite bikini bottoms!

When it comes to bikini bottoms, it really is a case of “each to their own. You can get swim briefs that sit at hip level or you can get high waisted ones. The high waisted bikini bottoms are perfect if you’re being bold and making your first foray into two piece swimwear but aren’t sure about baring your belly. They’re also great if you want to enhance your curves or need a little bit of extra support.

If you’re looking for something to swim in that gives you a little bit of leg cover, you’ve got a few styles to choose from. Board shorts can be worn over one piece or two piece swimsuits and are perfect for making that quick dash to the dairy for the Kiwi summer essential – the ice cream cone. There are also skirted swimsuit bottoms if you don’t want to expose your upper thighs to the sun, and you can get one piece suits in that style too.

Do you go for plain or patterned togs? I love them both, and with an entire drawer full of swimsuits, from bikinis to one piece suits, in a variety of colours and patterns, I can safely say that I’ve got summer covered. There’s always room for one more though, and I think my favourite has to be these high waisted bikini bottoms in black, so I can mix and match them with tankini and bikini tops…

What style of swimsuit are you looking forward to wearing this summer?
