Autumn Trend Alert: Purple

When the weather gets cooler, you don’t have to revert to basic blacks – try incorporating some luxurious purples in to your wardrobe to warm up your look!

If you’re just easing your way in to colour, and you’re not ready to shout your love of purple from the rooftops just yet, I’d recommend reaching for something in a darker shade like aubergine or plum. It looks great paired with neutrals like black, grey and beige, and is a great way to ease yourself in to this luxe colour.

Try a little something brighter in a smaller amount – perhaps a feature as a block colour or in part of a print on a top or a cardi like this colour block cardigan, or a scarf.

Feeling bold? Pantone’s Colour of the Year is Radiant Orchid – it’s nice and bright, and is an amazing way to announce to the world that you are here and you are fabulous! I love these tops from EziBuy that give you the option of dressing down for a casual look in the v-neck tee, or brightening up the office in the poplin shirt.

EziBuy really does have a shade of purple to suit everybody – do you prefer rich luxurious plum or radiant orchid? Let me know below, I’d love to know your favourite (for the record, mine is plum!).
