Autumn. It’s that time of year when you’re not sure if it’s going to be singlet weather or if you need to be wearing a coat. Where I live, it’s likely that you’ll experience both extremes in one day, so it’s important to be a savvy dresser. My top tip: layers. You can add layers when it’s cold and windy, and take them off when things start to warm up again! Here are some of my favourite ways to layer up…
Do you remember how your mum used to always make sure you were wearing a singlet when you were a kid? It’s a super easy way to add an extra layer underneath whatever you’re wearing. I recommend choosing a plain tank like the Sara Rib Tank as a way to add warmth without adding too much bulk to your outfit, however if you’re wearing a top you can leave open, go for something pretty like a lace cami.
I love leggings because they are so versatile! You can pop them under a skirt or dress as an extra layer, or you can pair them with a tunic for a totally different look.
The humble cardigan is perfect for keeping you warm while still allowing you to show off your pretty summer frocks. EziBuy has so many styles to choose from that there is something for everyone!
Scarves are an absolute must have – whether you go for a more traditional woollen scarf, a light cotton one or something in between, you’re bound to stay warm with one of these! I love snoods for an effortless chic look, but I love the versatility of the long scarf that can be used as a wrap around the shoulders, to cover your hair when you’re dashing through the wind and rain, or just for snuggling in to on a chilly day…
Of course, the ultimate layer for autumn is a good coat! EziBuy has a great selection of styles, with something to suit every shape and taste. I’ve got my eye on that berry-coloured trench – it looks perfect for protecting me from the wind!
