Autumn. It’s that time of year when you’re not sure if it’s going to be singlet weather or if you need to be wearing a coat. Where I live, it’s likely that you’ll experience both extremes in one day, so it’s important to be a savvy dresser. My top tip: layers. You can add layers when it’s cold and windy, and take them off when things start to warm up again! Here are some of my favourite ways to layer up…
Do you remember how your mum used to always make sure you were wearing a singlet when you were a kid? It’s a super easy way to add an extra layer underneath whatever you’re wearing. I recommend choosing a plain tank like the Sara Rib Tank as a way to add warmth without adding too much bulk to your outfit, however if you’re wearing a top you can leave open, go for something pretty like a lace cami.
I love leggings because they are so versatile! You can pop them under a skirt or dress as an extra layer, or you can pair them with a tunic for a totally different look.
