Central Park
Central Park is a must-see while in New York

New York, New York!

“Start spreading the news” you could be leaving very soon! EziBuy has just announced the ultimate Christmas giveaway – a trip to New York City worth $15,000. All you need to do to enter is purchase four or more items from EziBuy in one transaction during the promotion period. So hop to it and start browsing, those new jeans you’re still deciding on could be your winning ticket to one of the most exciting cities in the world!

There are a few things you need to know about the ‘city that never sleeps’, so we’ve compiled a list of our three favourite activities to do whilst in New York so you can pack accordingly.

1. The Statue of Liberty

This may seem like an obvious choice, but Lady Liberty is a sight that must be seen from all angles. Some guides may tell you to just take the Staten Island Ferry for a free view, but I’m telling you otherwise. A Liberty cruise will take you to Liberty Island so you can walk around, see the Statue, learn more than you ever imagined and have great views of Manhattan. Take your time here because there are lots of boats ready to take you back to the main land whenever you’re ready.

2. The American Museum of Natural History

A trip to the Natural History Museum is perfect for kids and adults alike. With so many exhibitions on at any one time, you will be undeniably spoilt for choice. You can choose to take a guided tour or pick up a museum map and explore on your own.

3. Central Park

Depending on what time of year you choose to travel, Central Park is always full of fun and unforgettable things to do. In the summer you can ride bikes, play baseball or go rowing on the lake. However, if a New York winter is too tempting to pass up, I definitely recommend going ice-skating at the Wollman Rink. It is larger than the rink at the Rockefeller Centre so you won’t have to wait in line for so long. In either case, think ahead and go early in the morning to get the most out of your day.

New York

Before you start planning your trip though, we recommend taking a virtual trip to www.ezibuy.com.au to stock up on your favourite essentials.

Here are our three best fashion tips for your holiday to New York City.

1. Shoes.

New York is a city for walkers. Although the subway system is efficient and the taxis abundant, there is no better way to see the sites than by walking. You’ll definitely need to invest in a pair that is both stylish and comfortable like the Naturalizer Upton Ballet slipper. With breathable linings and extra cushion for comfort you could practically hike a mountain in these and still be dressed for dinner afterwards. To browse through a wider range of shoes visit our shoes section.

2. Pants – Comfortable AND stylish.

A great pair of pants will take you from daytime site-seeing to an evening out on the town. EziBuy have a wonderful range, from jeans to capris and everything in between. A firm favourite pants are the Emerge Shaping Denim Capri. Available in a great range of colours, they are comfortable whilst being chic at the same time. To have a look at all the styles of pants available visit our pants section.

3. The Trench – A wardrobe essential

Perfect for every season, EziBuy sells trenches all year round. You can go for one in a classic colour for everyday use, or, if you like to live on the wild side, why not try one with a pop of colour? The Trench by Emerge comes in six different shades from Stone to China Blue, so there is something to suit everyone. This isn’t the only style of trench coat available at EziBuy, so to check out even more great styles head to our selection of coats.

Now that you’re all up to date in the latest trends and where to show off your great style in New York, you best get shopping. The competition closes 31st of October, so get online because there’s never been a better time to stock up on all your favourites from EziBuy!
