I have a confession to make. It’s summer already where I am right now. I’m sorry, it’s mean to rub it in, I know! I’ve been in Brisbane for the last 6 weeks working over here with some amazing styling clients. I know it’s just around the corner at home in NZ, in fact I’m counting on it as I’m home really soon! So I thought I’d get the summer feeling started and share with you one of my new favourite dresses from EziBuy just in time for it to warm up! (or there’s always a denim jacket and ankle boots in the mean time) I’ve spent a lot of time over here with styling clients, so comfort + style are always top of mind for me when getting dressed. This dress is the perfect combo. It’s comfortable and roomy (elastic waists are the best!), yet right on trend with the tropical print (it’s HUGE right now!)

I’ve just added a belt to define my waist and some neutral shoes, but you could have fun with colour too! Orange, yellow or even pink would be great complimentary colours to pop against the blue. Or add another level of sophistication with metallic accessories – this colour looks great with either gold or silver.
If you want to dress it down, sandals are fine, or even my fave combo of trainers (like these) and a denim jacket are always a great weekend look.
Now a word on the high/low hem (see how it’s slightly longer at the back?) Normally I’m not a fan, but this is only a subtle version which I actually think it quite flattering. It adds the illusion of length to your legs.
