Summer is finally here! I love wearing a print all year round, but especially when the sun is shining and the birds are singing (like it is, and they are, outside my office door right now!).
Bright, tropical prints always equals summer to me, and lucky for you, EziBuy has a MASSIVE range of printed everything at the moment. But what I’m really loving this summer is printed pants.
SHOP THE PANTS: Emerge 7/8 printed pants
What’s so great about these pants? Well the thing I love the most about them is that they naturally draw the attention to the slimmest part of everyone’s leg – your ankle. And don’t worry if you are slightly “vertically challenged” – it’s still a flattering length! Just make sure the shoes you wear don’t cut you off again (i.e. nude is best!)
So here’s a couple of ways I’ll be wearing this cute printed ankle grazers this summer….
SHOP THE LOOK: Emerge 7/8 printed pants | Emerge mesh knit in mint | Pull on sneaker in silver
These pants are perfect to throw on over the weekend as an alternative to jeans. They have some stretch in them and seem to relax as you wear them more. Use the colours in the print to match tops. I love this mint colour, so fresh and fun for summer! A little singlet or tee would also work with these pants nicely – just choose the style that flatters your shape the most and you’re good to go!
SHOP THE LOOK: Emerge 7/8 printed pants | Capture tie blouse in white
Dressing things up and down is all about HOW you wear something. Add a soft chiffon blouse and some nude heels and these pants are ready for a girls lunch, work event or date night! If it’s going to get a little chilly, add a blazer.
Again, use the print in the pants to match the colour top you like – so many colours to choose from, so simply choose the colour that suits you the most!
Now maybe this particular print isn’t for you (the Queenslander in me is always drawn to bright print!) but the same principles apply to all printed pants!
Are these pants something you would try? Or maybe you already own some like them – tell me how YOU would wear them, I’d love to hear.
Until next time,
