How to wear leather

You love the idea of leather, but a not sure how to wear it in a way that doesn’t look like you about to go and mount your Harley!

Well the good news is, EziBuy has such a variety of leather (and leather-look) pieces that there are now plenty of ways to work leather into your trans-seasonal wardrobe in a way that suits your style.

Let’s look at a couple of ways to introduce leather into your wardrobe this Autumn (because it’s the PERFECT addition to any Autumn wardrobe) and how to style it up so you’re in no doubt about your biker status!

1. Go for feminine colours

The quickest way to get out of biker-territory is to change up the colour of your leather. It’s a wonderful fabric to wear because not only does it keep you warm, but it has an added wind-proof element to it also.

You can still rock the flattering biker-style jacket, but the softer colours give these jackets some lightness and femininity that a black jacket just wouldn’t do. The lighter colours also look great in the day, when sometimes a black leather jacket can look quite harsh and heavy.

These are just two of the many I love from the current EziBuy collection

2. Try a leather piece that’s not the typical biker-jacket style

You don’t just have to wear your leather in a jacket anymore. There are so many other great styles around now that everyone’s taste is covered!

I’m loving these leather trousers, you can team them back with a pretty top and heels for a work-appropriate look, or with trainers and a knit for the weekends. The actually become a really versatile piece!

3. Mix your leather with more feminine pieces

Like we’ve just done above with the leather trousers and the blush pink top, you can always match back you black leather jacket with something a little more feminine. This just tones down the edginess of the jacket, but also adds a little spunky to something you might feel is too girly.

Trans-seasonally, I love wearing my leather jackets with dresses and ankle boots. It feels like the perfect mix for those days that start out cool, but warm up (you just take the jacket off). It’s the perfect mix of fun and funk.

So there you have 3 new ways to get some leather into your Autumn wardrobe! Like I mentioned before, leather is such a versatile fabric to own, and it will LAST for ever if you take care of it.

Leather pieces are definitely worth investing in – particularly when they have the versatility that these few do – you will get a lot of wear for your money, always a good thing!

I can’t wait to pull those pants out this Autumn! They have my name all over them. Which is your favourite leather piece? Tell me in the comments below, I’d love to know!

Until next time, Happy shopping!
