With Christmas just a few days away, the number of parties, events and gatherings are higher than any other time of year! And what to wear to all these events is just one extra thing we have to think about.
So today we’re talking about how to take one item in your wardrobe (a gorgeous maxi dress) and dress it up or down, no matter what the event you are attending is.
So what is the trick to finding the right maxi to dress up and down?
A couple of things – look for a fabric that can take you from day to night, something with a bit of a print is always good, but also look for a fabric that is a little dressier than a jersey (think t-shirt-ish fabric) but it doesn’t have to have sequins and shine to it.
The other thing to look for is a style that can be taken from day to night – something with a bit of interest around the neckline, and some structure to it. But that is just my suggestion – with a bit of creativity, you can really dress almost any maxi dress up of down – let’s look at how we can dress up and down this gorgeous Grace Hill Statement Maxi Dress……
This maxi is a great option to dress up and down! Use your accessories to make it seem more casual for weekend BBQ’s and more relaxed get-togethers. A belt defines your waist, and matches back with a relaxed sandal. Add my favourite accessory for dressing things down, a straw fedora or panama hat.
Use the colours in the print to accessorise – the black lends itself nicely to adding some glam accessories. A bit of bling never goes astray when you’re trying to dress any outfit up.
The necklace follows the same line of the dress neckline, and will add a little something special to the look of the dress. And as always, a heel will glam up the look.
This is the perfect outfit for your work Christmas breakup, or dinner with the girls to celebrate the end of the year. You could even rock this at a New Years Eve do! The possibilities are endless.
As always, EziBuy has you covered for all situations. Don’t be scared to think outside the box and have a go dressing things up and down!
