With Winter just around the corner, it’s time to start looking ahead at some of the awesome fashions we’ll be wearing when the temperatures drop!
This is a style I’ve seen slowly creeping onto the racks for a season or two now, but this Winter, it’s about to blow up! Introducing, The Cape!
I’m totally in love with this style of coat for Winter. It has such a sophisticated look to it, but will give you warmth too.
So I thought I’d put together a few mood-board inspiration images, and then recreate the looks thanks to EziBuy – so you can get the look too.
The Sexy Black Cape
Supermodel Karlie Kloss is rocking this look – clearly she’s on a Very Important Phone Call, and you could rock this look too with these 3 pieces from EziBuy. It would be a great work outfit with some ankle boots, or take it through to a night out with some amazing heels! The leather pants are a great match with this cape, adding that bit of edginess to the look.
The Blanket Cape
Superstar Charlize Theron looks effortless in this blanket cape style, but still has an element of sophistication with the grey boots. This is the perfect weekend-casual option (or even a casual Friday) for a cool winter’s day. The blanket-style allows you to wrap up more when its cold, or just wear it over your shoulders should the sun come out.
The Casual Cape
This is a look anyone call pull off over the Winter months, although socialite Olivia Palermo does it to perfection. By having your arms free (they go through the wee holes at the front) you can still run around and get your hands dirty with the kids, and look funky and stylish at the same time! Bonus!
Three looks, three ways to wear a cape this winter.
Stylist’s Tip: Because a cape is quite a full style, make sure you are wearing something slim on the bottom half. This will keep your body much more in proportion and not add too much bulk to your frame. But besides that, go forth and cape!
What do you think of this Winter trend? Must-have? Or stay away? Tell me in the comments below, I’d love to hear!
Until Next Time, Happy Shopping!
