There is always a lot of talk about “natural fibers” and how amazing they are, but why is that! We’ll one of the reasons is they way they are woven allows air to flow in and out of the teeny little holes between the weave, therefore making the fabric cooler or “breathable”.
Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing some of the gorgeous pieces that Grace Hill has in their collection – I have to admit, I’m loving the quality and cut of all the amazing silks from Grace Hill, this brand is definitely an asset to the EziBuy range!
Silk is one such fabric and this gorgeous silk maxi from Grace Hill is a wardrobe must-have for Summer.
It’s cut at a nice length that looks great with heels or flats (I’m almost 5ft 10 so it’s shorter on me than most). I also think the navy is a great alternative to black, it some how seems fresher and lighter for summer.
This dress is a great staple as you can accessorize it to suit your own shape, taste and lifestyle. I’ve matched the navy back with orange for a pop of colour – this would be great for a summer work outfit, or a lunchtime catchup with friends.

You can also dress it down with tan sandals (or even trainers) and a belt to show off your waist a little.
This maxi will also suit almost any body shape, as I’ve just shown, belt it for a defined waist, but it also has enough shape to wear it loose. Apples and Hourglasses, use a long necklace or scarf to minimise your bust by creating that all-important vertical line (like I am in the top picture) and Pears try belting it for a more defined waist.
I’m wearing the size 10 (and I’m normally a 12) but a 12 would have been fine too – I’m a DD cup so if you are any bigger I would suggest wearing your true size, otherwise try sizing down.
Simple, sophisticated and silk – three great attributes for any maxi dress to have, wouldn’t you agree?
